Back when they did it right
Sailmakers today have hydraulically pressed rings, big honking Cordes sewing machines, synthetic ropes, hot knives, seamstick, mylar laminates. Let's hearken back to when everything was hand sewn.......

You only get the Tot if your wounds are from hard work. Slackers get the Sack.

I think he said "you get a tot of rum for that, for messing the sail up" as in you, the guy paying for the sail, get the tot from the sailmaker for messing up your sail.
