Comments - I do appreciate them

This blog doesn't go overboard to elicit comments to posts but let me emphasize that I appreciate all your comments (and now that I have finally figured how to track them through Blogger); I read them all. Since I'm not the most prolific commenter to other blogs, I don't expect much in return but many thanks to all who respond to my posts (TOH to the recent comment on my Patin A Vela post, TOH to Doryman, Tillerman, JohnZ and My2Fish, the most prolific commenters of my small but treasured readership).

keep up the good work! I don't always get where you're coming from with some of the music choices, but that's the beauty of us having our own opinions!

cheers,

I've learned that music, being such an intensely personal exploration, is the one topic where I'll get strong reactions and where I'm most likely, for every "Music Whenever" post, have many readers who don't agree with my music taste and quickly click the video to a stop. Tom Price at one time said he liked most everything about the blog except the Music video featuring Swiss Drum Corps. I realized then that putting Music videos up (particularly the not so well known) would probably get strong reactions either for or against.

I agree - but I would keep posting them! I love finding new music, and get bored quickly with mainstream radio play. even if I didn't fall in love with 3 or 4 of your music choices in a row, that next one might be my new favorite artist.

new music is where its at.

You've singlehandedly added more to my music library than all other sources combined, since you started Music for Fridays. One good video leads to another until suddenly it's 2am.
Oh, yeah. Then there's the sailing...

When I post a youtube music clip, I usually entitle it "Just Because". If anyone else likes it, it's gravy.

I do like me some gravy.

Your posts about all these strange boats called Classic Moths are intriguing. But I am not ready to cut the stern off my Laser (yet)...

I also liked the posts about the British and the Dutch sailing 'classic' boats.
