Europe Dinghy Fails - No. 4 in a Recent Series

Forgive me dear reader but as I struggle to get out of this winter, I'm persevering by watching videos featuring sailing fails. There being 3 recent (youngsters flopping over -and over, Lightweight Sharpies at the jibe mark, and the video of the best of sailing fails of 2015) - this fourth in the series is of a Europe dinghy skipper who has great fun blast reaching back and forth but also has an affinity for getting hit in the head with the boom and rolling his Europe dinghy into the drink at the most inopportune times.

I reckon he's either performing for the camera, or extremely clumsy........!!

kroppyer,

You may be clumsy (we all are at some point in dinghy sailing), but you put together a very good sailing video! Thanks.

Thanks Tweezerman, great to be featured in this series and I love the way you introduced and described the video.

Don't take my "I'm extremely clumsy" too serious, I like to have some fun :) I just sail a lot, so after a whole summer of sailing I can fill 2 minutes of clumsiness, which is really the only interesting footage from that camera.

Kroppyer, I apologise for my comments; I couldn't make out in the video if you were just goofing about, or not too sure what you were doing; anyway, it was entertaining. I, too, just sail mostly for fun, racing occasionally in the summer, but prefer not to fall in , as at my age, it becomes harder to get back on board! (upper body strength!)(Oh, and the water temp. here in Puget Sound is totally brrrr!)

Carry on having fun...!

It's fine Dieharddinghysailor! Your comment made me smile, the video is more fun if you imagine I'm a clumsy person not able to stay on board for more than half a mile.
