To start off 2014, a tip-of-the-hat to my friends; some I have never met face-to-face, some I haven't seen in a while - we just trade Xmas notes about the previous year, some I bump into at the local grocery store and we block the aisles catching up and some I meet up with on a regular basis.

The all numeral captchas are easier than the old ones, but I'm finding that I'm not getting any spam comments these days, even without a captcha.

Thanks to all on my blog list who have provided much entertainment over 2013 and I look forward to 2014. Thanks to Tillerman for help on a project of mine that is lurching forward slowly - in fits and starts. As far as our blogger community congregating, I'm waiting for the NYYC to have a sailing bloggers symposium in one of their storied drawing rooms with all of the models on the wall, where I could sit on one of their overstuffed leather chairs sipping something (not sure what at this time).
