"The Moth is being built in Moscow region by Serg-IF(nickname on boat forum) according to your boat plans. It is planned that Moth will strike the water of Oka-river this spring. As for me I plan to build my Moth this spring. Hope that I'll have enough time for that. Also there is one more guy from Tsimlyansk (it is on Don river) who interested in your Mistral. It could be he will start building. He have a huge experience in boatbuilding and sailing.

Interestingly, the builder is building this hull over station molds rather than pulling the skin panels together via a Spanish windless as per the instructions. Too bad the site is in Russian. It would be interesting to see how much hair he tears out get the ply to cooperate. With a Mistral there's always a bit of jiggery-pokery when getting the panels to close the keel line.
Looking at the molds I would have thought that there was no way you could pull a piece of plywood down on those compound curves but you have posted about a stitch and glue version so I guess it can be done.
Actually on second thoughts maybe it wasn't you that posted about a stitch and glue version - sometimes it's a bugger being 64 with an 84 year old brain!

Actually you aren't losing it. The Mistral is designed to be built stitch and tape but our Russian friend is being very careful and building it over a set of forms. A very safe way to build a design you know nothing about and with incomplete plans.
