We had a bit of snow and wind over the weekend here in the Mid Atlantic. Damned inconvenient in the modern world... waiting, ... waiting... house-bound, but the snow plow did finally come through today to free us up. To overcome the ennui of isolation what better than to view a video where life is balmy, even tropical. Ah! shorts, bare feet!

Yes, seasons can get in the way of sailing in some parts of the world - but just think, after straining at the leash (or mooring ropes) for a couple of seasons Spring and Summer sailing will be all that sweeter!
Luckily the temperatures warmed up quickly and we have had significant melting. The Farmers Almanac is predicting another major snowstorm in mid-February. (They more-or-less got the prediction on this storm correct.)
