Very impressive clip of the Bahama A-class "Red Stripe" screaming into the finish. I can't count the number of people stacked on the boards but there's a bunch of them. Video taken at the Family Island regatta. Anybody with more information on the Bahama local classes, feel free to chime in.

Wooden Boat magazine has an excellent 2-part story on the history and present state of these boats and the races they participate in: https://www.woodenboat.com/whiskey_plank/bahamian-sloops%E2%80%94part-i and https://www.woodenboat.com/whiskey_plank/bahamian-sloops%E2%80%94part-ii. What a unique connection with the past, with modern sponsorships and the requisite betting!
