Brit sailing writer and marine historian, David Henshall, has written an article for Yachts and Yachting online about the state of classic dinghy racing in the U.K. About 2/3's the way into the article, David gives a nod to our Classic Moth scene in the U.S. (as well as the International 14 and 505).

Thanks for alerting me to that, very good article, and I'm doing my best to restore old boats since I moved here..!! I'm going to be meeting him later this year at the Bosham Classic regatta in UK, so will be good - he's also a Merlin nut like me. I went to look at the Lowman 14, lapstrake - looks ok, like a cross between a merlin and a 14...! And the guy wants to sell it.....yeah..! So maybe I won't have to worrry about trying to ship the Ames. Bill Moss boat over here from Vermont after all. Watch this space
